Grupo bt USA has been awarded with The Bahamas Tourist Office account and beginning this month will develop the integrated marketing and communication strategy. The main objective of Grupo bt USA is to increase at least 50% of the visits of Latin American travelers towards The Bahamas.
The main slogan for the campaign will be: Bahamas, No lo has visto todo.
The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and the travel industry partners of the islands have been promoting various initiatives to serve the large number of passengers expected from Central and South America. Since June 2011 Copa Airlines has opened up the Bahamas to the Central and South American markets, and is projected to bring more than 14,500 visitors to the islands and generate more than $17 million for the Bahamian economy in its first year.
Copa Airlines is offering Non-stop service connecting Nassau to the ‘Hub of the Americas’ in Panama. The service link Nassau to Copa’s network of 49 destinations in 27 countries across North America, South America and the Caribbean region.
Four weekly flights are scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, with flights scheduled to depart from Panama City at 9:18 a.m. and arrive in Nassau just after 1:00 p.m. Returning flights on the travel days are scheduled to leave the capital at 3:25 p.m. and arrive in Panama at 5:02 p.m.
Now, The Bahamas Tourist Office will receive Grupo bt USA marketing and communications experience highlighting that residents of Central and South America who travel to The Bahamas do not require a VISA.
From its Miami office, Grupo bt USA will coordinate all the in-market efforts that will cover all of South America through its offices in Brazil, Colombia and Argentina in partnership with DBD Ideas Turisticas.
