AT&T is abuzz in anticipation of the annual Hispanicize 2013, the fourth annual five day event for Latino trendsetters and newsmakers that concludes Saturday. As a sponsor of this year’s event, AT&T has descended on Miami Beach, Fla., for a full-scale immersion of films, innovation and social trends as Hispanic marketers, online influencers, bloggers, and journalists rally around this annual Latino trends festival–the largest of its kind.

New this year is the unique Hispanicize Music Festival – a platform that highlights emergent Latino musicians, artists, and DJs and exposes them to hundreds of Latino influencers in the hopes to help them catapult their careers.

AT&T is thrilled to have teamed up with Hispanicize to provide a stage for these talented artists while entertaining the large crowds expected at Hispanicize. On day three, April 11 AT&T will treat conference participants to the first Latin Indie Night in the history of Hispanicize.  Held at the prestigious New World Center, conference attendees can expect a change in pace from their busy days with a more relaxed and celebratory atmosphere.

With opening acts by Locos por Juana, La Santa Cecilia, Hola Hi, Domino Saints, and Sonsoles; guests can choose to dance the night away to everything from rock tunes and urban pop sounds, to milder Jazz and boleros beats or just sit back and relax.  DJ El Dusty will also be featured at the event, in addition to five-time Latin GRAMMY winners Jesse & Joy, who are expected to deliver the closing performance of the night.

Every night of Hispanicize 2013 will showcase the musical talents of up-and-coming Latin artists and/or Latin DJs.  Music festival events will range from performances at the Eden Roc hotel to offsite concert venues throughout Miami Beach and include a closing night event celebrating the cult classic film “La Bamba” featuring celebrity Latin DJs.

With more than 100 sessions, 260 presenters and musical showcases and events, Hispanicize will, without a doubt, be the most digitally-enabled event that week in Miami. AT&T will make it easier for guests to Like it, Tweet it, Pin it, search it or text it by placing charging stations at the AT&T Studio Set. Conference participants will also be able to learn more the latest technology and services, including the newest technology in home security and automation, AT&T Digital LifeSM.

During Hispanicize, AT&T will also:

  • Hold a Social Blogathon–a healthy blogger competition. The ultimate prize is a Blogger Tech Bundle that includes AT&T branded Beats by Dr. Dre headphones, Bed Bath and Beyond gift cards, and prepaid cards.
  • Team up with ESPN Deportes to enhance Hispanicize Sports Track, providing interview opportunities for bloggers and sports journalists while also producing TV content and digital social interaction.
