For the first time in history, three of the music industry’s top performing rights organizations: ASCAP, BMI and SESAC will join forces with “Los Producers,” an annual event that is part of the pre-Latin GRAMMY celebrations, which supports a different charitable organization each year.
This year, “Los Producers” will support the Cim*ab Foundation (Asociación Mexicana Contra el Cáncer de Mama, A.C) a non-governmental, non-profit organization created to educate and inform Mexican women on breast cancer prevention and its treatment, in an effort to reduce the number of deaths caused by the disease.
Year after year, Los Producers Show rounds up some of Latin music’s top talent – a mix of Latin Grammy winners and nominees. The event will be held on November 18 at the Fremont Country Club in Las Vegas. Members of the Latin music industry and music lovers alike will gather in this celebration to support this great cause.
ASCAP, BMI and SESAC are three performing rights organizations that serve both music creators and music users by licensing public performances of musical works in their respective repertories. These are three leading companies in the music industry, which makes this event very significant, as it marks the first time they come together to support such an important cause.
