MIAMI, FL – The Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center (CDTC), a center that helps change the lives of children with special healthcare needs and their families, has named Hispanic marketing executive Arminda “Mindy” Figueroa, principal of Latin 2 Latin, a 2010 “Transformer”.
These Transformers help CDTC continue to provide children and their families with health and treatment services in many ways. Becoming a Transformer is more than just writing a check; this program brings together various individuals and professionals who want to be a part of a life changing experience.
The Broward-based CDTC serves over 10,000 children annually who have chronic illnesses and developmental disabilities. With a mission to provide optimal health and well being of children and youth, CDTC provides family centered comprehensive prevention, intervention and treatment services within a medical home environment.
“There are no words to express how grateful I am to have been chosen to be a part of this wonderful Transformers family. I am thankful to The Wasie Foundation along with CDTC for giving me the opportunity to help change the lives of children and their families, “said Figueroa. “My team and I want to help spread the word and work of this wonderful and inspiring organization in any way we can.”
