ALPFA, a national nonprofit that advances opportunities for Latino professionals and students, has tapped FH Hispania, the Hispanic marketing arm of Fleishman Hillard, to manage public relations efforts in 2011. For nearly 40 years, ALPFA has worked to forge the path for more Latino business leaders to join the ranks of corporate America. With the assistance of FH Hispania, ALPFA will increase awareness of the organization, and assist in expanding the reach of its programs.
“This was a critical step in the evolution of our organization,” stated Manny Espinoza, ALPFA CEO “We have grown tremendously within a specific niche, but the number of Latinos in higher education and executive positions is not reflective of the potential and talent that exists. We must impact and engage more of the Latino community to create a stronger voice, and FH Hispania presented innovative thinking, professionalism and commitment to furthering our mission.”
The relationship begins immediately and will focus on key ALPFA initiatives such as the highly anticipated annual conference in Anaheim on August 6-10, 2011 and regional and national programs including Women of ALPFA, and the Student Symposiums.
