What Ada Says…
Ada started her career as a journalist in 2000 at El Pais Newspaper, the second largest newspaper in her native country Colombia. She quickly showed her potential when she won the Chronicle of the Year for her special report on youth and ecstasy consume in the chronicle “Extasis, un trance hacia la muerte.” In 2004, after she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Ada was invited to work as an editor at El Mundo Newspaper in Austin, TX.
After working for more than two years at El Mundo, Ada moved to San Francisco, CA, where she joined the KDTV Univision team. In 2008, she won the prestigious RTNDA Award for best News Writing. Along with her career in journalism, Ada has also worked as a translator and editor, and is currently writing for her blog (en)peliculAda.
