Atlanta Hispanic marketing PR agency Lanza Group is hosting the Hispanic Achievement and Business Leadership Awards (HABLA) presented by Verizon Wireless Oct. 14.  This year the awards luncheon is accepting award nominations and scholarship applications.   The 3rd annual awards luncheon recognizes the achievements of the Hispanic business community through peer nominations to highlight the accomplishments made in the Atlanta business community.

“This year we have a new component to the awards, our scholarship for a deserving student,” said Lanza Group President Ralph E. Herrera. “In order to keep the community moving forward, HABLA and the Lanza Group believe educating our youth is the best path to success.”

HABLA began in 2008, and honors nominees in five categories: Entrepreneur, Civic/Government, Corporate Executive and Unsung Hero. The HABLA Scholarship will be awarded to one Latino graduating high school senior or current college freshman or sophomore, in the amount of $1500. Scholarship applications and nomination forms are available online at www.HablaAtlanta.com and will be accepted through Sept. 26 at midnight EDT.
