NPR – Vibe Magazine to many is known as the bible of the Hip-Hop music industry, but the publication recently announced plans to end its run, a casualty of the weakened economy. Also, black publishing giant Johnson Publishing Company, which publishes Ebony and Jet. A roundtable of people close to the ethnic media industry discuss the challenges of the minority press.
