LATINAS THINK BIG announces Google as title sponsor of innovation summit
LATINAS THINK BIG today announced the sponsors for their inaugural LATINAS THINK BIG™ Innovation Summit. The event’s title sponsor is Google, and will take place at Google’s headquarters on October 3rd. Google will also livestream the event on Google+ Hangouts on Air, so people can attend virtually.
Co-sponsoring the event are Wells Fargo, Ford, Kapor Center for Social Impact, Farmers Insurance, Boden PR, and the Ivy League Project.
According to the LATINAS THINK BIG Web site, the summit “sparks a national dialogue on the current state and future of Latina innovation. Over 300 accomplished and aspiring Latinas in STEM careers – along with a talented group of innovators, tech entrepreneurs and influencers — will connect, network, learn and showcase their innovations.”
LATINAS THINK BIG was founded by Dr. Angelica Perez-Litwin, a psychologist who is also the founder and publisher of NewLatina.net, and founding manager of the Latina Leadership Network as well as the founder of the ELLA Institute.
