The U.S. Hispanic community is the fastest-growing population segment in the U.S., projected to almost triple in the next 20 years. This segment currently stands at almost 50 million people, and is projected to increase to more than 127 million by 2030. At that time Hispanics will comprise almost one-third of the U.S. population, up from 14% in 2009. Hispanic purchasing power is projected to reach more than $1.4 trillion by 2015.
