Hispanics have Lowest Rate of Internet Access via Broadband

A new report coming out of the Department of Commerce is showing that Hispanics have the lowest rate of broadband use for accessing the internet. Approximately 47.9 percent of all Hispanics households access their internet via broadband, which means that the rest of the Hispanics households either don’t have internet or use unreliable sources to access internet.

Whereas Asian-American households have the highest rate of internet access via broadband at 77.3 percent followed by non-Hispanic whites with 68 percent and 49.4 percent for African-American households.
