VOLUNTEERS-FEATURED
Hispanicize is recruiting volunteers for its 8th annual event in Miami

Now in its eighth year, Hispanicize is the largest event in the United States for the nation’s most influential Latino professionals from the industries of digital content creation, journalism, music, marketing, film, and business to gather over the course of five action-packed days.

The event will take place in downtown JW Marriott Marquis Miami, April 3-6, 2017. The conference provides goal-achieving and ambitious volunteers with numerous opportunities to network, forge new friendships, secure event management, and PR experience and come away with an incredible feeling of accomplishment. This year’s event is expected to be the largest one yet. If you have ever thought about participating and giving your time to this game-changing and iconic multi-industry event, then consider the three surprising benefits below on why you must volunteer.

It’s Inspirational

Countless articles reference the importance of cultivating tribes, which empower, push and encourage your drive. Keeping these principals in mind, when was the last time you were in the company of great, inspiring content creators, influencers, award-winning journalists, influential bloggers, Viners, highly-respected brands, entrepreneurs, musicians, filmmakers and agencies, alike for 4 days?

If it is imagination, inspiration, innovativeness, authenticity, creativity, you hunger for– then the Hispanicize 2017 tribe wants you to volunteer. The opportunity to connect and network with like-minded people awaits.

Latino Leadership & Empowerment

Interested in educating yourself on the latest data in the tech and digital space, learning about the trends shaping the multicultural industry, and gaining insightful news on consumer predictions? Then Hispanicize is the place for you to volunteer. Offering a complete line-up of top-notch sessions, each presentation provides the chance to gain insight. As a volunteer, you will participate in the conversations, network with presenters and attendees as well as walk away with a wealth of information. Consider yourself friendly, engaging and a master relationship builder, then the registration relations team wants you on their side to meet and greet attendees, bloggers, brand reps and so forth.

It’s about Community

Hispanicize volunteers become part of the Hispanicize family. The volunteers are highly valued extended team members of the conference. In fact, many former Hispanicize volunteer alumni secure employment, opportunities, and internships from giving their time to this event. Since the event provides each volunteer with the opportunity to think fast on their feet, problem-solve and shine, attendees, brands, bloggers, and team members onsite take notice. It’s highly encouraged that all volunteers work a minimum number of hours during the event, as the size and scope of the conference require appropriate training for all involved. By meeting the requirement of allotted hours, volunteers gain a boost of self-confidence, make new friends, and ultimately, become an undeniably reliable resource to ALL team members.
