Hispanic Radio Station’s Web Video Honored

A web video produced by the morning on-air team on La Selecta 1050 WVXX, the Spanish-language radio station in southeastern Virginia, has been honored in the 2010 international Videographer Awards.

The video, called “4:45 a.m, La Casa de La Gringa,” received an Award of Distinction in the competition’s web video category. The video features morning host Ricardo Alegría and co-host La Gringa, who wrote and produced it. The Videographer Awards program annually recognizes excellence in all areas of video production. This year, the competition received more than 1,800 entries from around the United States and several other countries.
