Chrysler Group Executive Named to HispanicBusiness Magazine’s 2011 Corporate Elite

  • President and CEO of Ram Truck Brand Fred M. Diaz, Jr. receives “Corporate Elite” honor

  • Selectees must have made “a significant professional accomplishment  in their field and demonstrated dedication to the advancement of the Hispanic community”

The editors of HispanicBusiness Media selected Fred M. Diaz, Jr., President and CEO of Ram Truck Brand and Head of National Sales, Chrysler Group LLC to their 2011 Corporate Elite list.  The annual Corporate Elite list — published in the January/February issue of HispanicBusiness magazine — includes the 25 most influential, engaged and dynamic Hispanic business leaders in America.

Corporate Elite selectees must be U.S. citizens of Hispanic origin, have made “a significant professional accomplishment in their field and demonstrated dedication to the advancement of the Hispanic community.”

Candidates are nominated by readers and others in the community.  The Corporate Elite list is featured in the January/February issue of HispanicBusiness magazine.

In 2010, Diaz was a recipient of the HENAAC/Great Minds in STEM Chairman’s Award, in recognition of his commitment to science, technology, engineering and mathematics education among youth in the Hispanic community.  Diaz is also a member of Chrysler’s Global Diversity Council, an executive level committee within the Company dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion throughout the enterprise.
