Veteran PR professional Veronica Rodriguez to head VPE PR’s new east coast operation
Hispanic Agency Expands to New York City on Eve of 25th Anniversary
Long-established Hispanic public relations agency VPE recently expanded its operations base to the East Coast with the appointment of veteran PR professional Veronica Rodriguez as Account Director in New York City.
“VPE has been serving national accounts since 1992 and the appointment of Veronica to this new position further strengthens our position as the country’s most established Hispanic public relations agency,” said agency partner John Echeveste.
“We are especially pleased to have a seasoned professional like Veronica on our team. With more than 15 years of experience in the field, she brings a strong understanding of Hispanic consumer needs and established East Coast contacts that complement our agency’s capabilities,” Echeveste said.
Rodriguez has previously served as a senior public relations and social media manager with some of the leading Hispanic advertising and PR agencies based in New York. She has managed major national campaigns for many well-known national brands, and has also overseen corporate PR initiatives in previous positions at Universal Motown Music Group and Atari.
A graduate of John Jay College of Criminal Justice at the City University of New York, Rodriguez is completing her Masters of Science in Executive Communications Management at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
Rodriguez will be responsible for overseeing the agency’s Verizon Wireless account and building the agency’s East Coast presence.
Established in 1998 and based in South Pasadena, CA., VPE has represented McDonald’s, Disneyland, Southern California Edison, The California Wellness Foundation and Verizon Wireless for a combined total of more than 60 years. The agency is celebrating its 20th anniversary as national Hispanic AOR for McDonald’s.
