No Mas Hambre Summit in Washington, DC on May 17

Community leaders, anti-hunger activists, and government officials gather to fight hunger in the Latino community
Last year, nearly one third of all Latinos went hungry, yet this issue is not on the radar screen for many of us. To address this problem, LATINO Magazine will convene the first annual No Mas Hambre Summit, bringing together community leaders, anti-hunger activists, government officials, and business executives to create a Latino anti-hunger agenda.

No Mas Hambre is an initiative launched by LATINO Magazine with support of the Office of Minority Health, Sodexo, Walmart, AARP, Servicemaster, Feeding America, the Alliance to End Hunger, LULAC, NCLR, Dialog on Diversity, and others. Its objective is to raise public awareness of hunger in the Latino community through articles in LATINO Magazine, a website at NoMasHambre.com, and the No Mas Hambre Summit.  The Summit will take place at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC on May 17 and will feature interactive panels and roundtable discussions with Latino leaders, hunger relief experts, and Obama Administration officials.
