The National Pork Board is launching “Sabrosos Momentos con Chef Lorena Garcia” (Flavor-Filled Moments with Chef Lorena Garcia) with the first of a two-part multimedia series containing three pork-inspired video recipes and educational videos showcasing three popular pork cuts: the tenderloin, ribs and shoulder, featuring one of the country’s most popular Latina chefs. “The main inspiration for my cooking is to bring loved ones together to enjoy wonderful food,” Chef Garcia said. “It is something that has always fulfilled me.”

With pork traditionally a main ingredient in many recipes, Chef Garcia prepared dishes that appeal to Latino tastes. The series includes the Pork tenderloin, which is one of seven cuts that have been classified as “lean” by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).

“I am thrilled to share my culture and love of pork through these new recipes that families may enjoy in everyday meals,” Chef Garcia said. “I believe in keeping it simple, but interesting.”
