BREAKING NEWS: Google Creates Series of Videos Touting Strength of Hispanics Online

Google has just released a series of short videos dubbed “Google Hispanic Marketing Forum” touting the growth and strength of Hispanics online.  The promotional videos come on the heels of Google hiring Mark Lopez, former COO of Terra Networks, to lead their Hispanic market efforts, a first for the search giant.
The video series include specific segments on General Mills’ Que Rica Vida and Kraft’s Comida y Familia initiatives.  No further details were available at press time.  Below are the video segments.

Transitions Optical focuses multicultural marketing effort on black community

Recognizing the increased risks African Americans face for a number of eye health issues, Transitions Optical, Inc. is launching its “Healthy Sight for Life: Focus on African-American Eyes” campaign at the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW)’s 25th annual Black Family Reunion Celebration on September 11 in Washington, D.C.

The campaign will raise awareness about the importance of proper vision care and vision wear among the African-American community. In partnership with NCNW, the event will kick off several initiatives, including distribution of a co-branded “What to Expect: African-American Eyes” brochure and the addition of educational information about eye- and overall-health issues impacting high-risk groups on Transitions Optical’s corporate giving program website,  To read the rest of this story click here.
